Verena Fischer is a Media and Cultural Studies graduate, who is currently studying Computing and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Sussex, Brighton, UK, while working part-time as a Peer Assisted Learning Leader and Blog-Author.
After 1 1/2 years of studying Media and Cultural Studies full-time she decided to enroll for another full-time degree – Philosophy and Antique Cultures – at the same time. She finished Media and Cultural Studies with great success after 3 years, while having completed 50% of the Philosophy degree on the side and working in a part-time position as a web designer.
She is interested in everything that has to do with robotics and AI – be it medial representation, philosophy or actual engineering -, self development, life hacking and tango argentino. On top of that she has to cope with a recently discovered chronic illness, which she had at least for the past 2 1/2 years, but certainly can’t stop her from being a high achiever.
